Alpha female of the cliff-dwelling storm gryphons. Her flocks makes their nest in deep holes they claw into the mountains, often venturing out during rainy weather to hunt smaller prey seeking shelter from the elements. They are a highly shamanistic race, though only a few can communicate through nature itself. Darkwing is a raincaller, meaning she may speak through the rain and streams to others, in this case her mate. She is an incredibly shy creature and is extremely passive. She would sooner die than defend herself and potentially hurt somebody. Darkwing is incredibly sweet if she overcomes her shyness, and will often follow adventurers she befriends closely.
