Further explanation of his abilities: Thaillon can harness the power of "essence", an energy that flows from all living things, to control nature. He can control the wind and even use it to fly, change the course of rivers and create giant waves, make tree vines entangle his enemies, etc. He can also use essence to shrink down people.

If he swallows live prey, he's able to assimilate their essence more thoroughly as they're digested, thus giving him a power boost for a while. He's able to control his digestion as to make it painless, and can reform any prey he eats, and their essence regenerates naturally, without any kind of harm coming to the reformed prey.
