Gantt is a large sentient feral dragon. He is an avid collector of feathers, fur, and cotton plants - he uses them to make giant soft beds in his cave.
He loves small animals and will go out of his way to not harm them, but does eat fish and animals that are already dead. He prefers eating the offerings of fruit, bread, and ale local villages give him. He won't take them by force, but the villagers consider themselves indebted to him because he keeps more aggressive kinds of dragons away.

There is a festival each year in which Gantt has a flower crown placed on his head and vines wrapped around his paws and villagers dance around him until morning. It is called The Dragon's Rite and children who aren't scared of him and touch his paw are given flower crowns to represent their bravery.

Gantt is peaceful, quiet, and sociable. However, he is ruthless to those that attack him or the places that are "his". He hopes to one day raise a clutch of equally peaceful dragons to continue his legacy.
