There is a lot of info here, so I'm not going to retype it all. Hopefully my handwriting is legible enough ^^; If you have questions, feel free to ask! I don't bite (:

Some major changes in Topaz's design include: her tail got longer (she has two pups with long tails, and this would make more sense genetically), her ears got longer, and her build became more graceful. I also removed the scars on her left wrist, because I always forgot to draw them, and frankly they made me uncomfortable.

Some major changes for Topaz's accessories include: She got 2 new necklaces (I have them in real life!), I took away her rings, her earrings changed colors, she got an ear cuff and an anklet (based off one I made myself for the summer), and her main necklace is now an image. That image can be found here.

I don't include a backstory in Topaz's ref because she doesn't really have one. As my fursona, her story is my story, but as a lead in my comic, there actually is something to speak of, so I guess I'll write that out down below.

Another important note: in "Ethereal", Topaz has no accessories. If you are drawing fanart of the comic, she would not have accessories, but if you are drawing her as my fursona, she would. (I hope that makes sense.)

Backstory (for "Ethereal")
Topaz was born a rogue, and has lived without a pack her whole life. She met Glacier when she left her parents, and the two became fast friends. Topaz and Puzzle met during Topaz's first breeding season, and they fell in love instantly. Their first pup, Aisha, was born prematurely, and just barely survived, though all of the other pups in the litter died within their first days of life. Topaz and Puzzle assumed that they were premature because Topaz was still too young, seeing as it isn't custom for females to breed their first season (in the comic, anyways). Glacier gradually drifted from them, not wanting to interrupt family business, but still hunted with Topaz on a weekly basis. The following year, Topaz and Puzzle have two more pups, Strike and Divide, and they're born happy and healthy and right on time. Topaz and Puzzle never have any more pups, but the family unit stays very close together throughout the remainder of Topaz's life.
