Despite his wretched appearance, Hororin is a kind-hearted and gentle man. He was born to a semi-wealthy demon mother. He never knew his father, who was only a temporary love interest to his mother, but his blond hair and elven ears were traits granted by him.
His mother was quite neglectful so he ran away from home at a young age and lived as a street urchin for years. He was taken in by a priestess of Sarenrae named Jordana Hyland, after he stole her coin purse and she forced him to repent. Sarenrae is a goddess of healing, righteousness, and redemption- all ideals Hororin was taught once he lived under Jordana's care. He has grown to be a dedicated servant and is constantly inspired by the path of Sarenrae.
