This is Vikki! While I'm still figuring out what to name my dorky wolf girl, I'm going to write about her.

Vikki is a witch-in-training who is very hot tempered and kind of rude tbh! She's also bad at controlling the volume of her voice because she lived in a very loud household growing up. She hates kids and babies because she has 4 super annoying little brothers. However, she's also got something of a motherly instinct and can't ignore abandoned children especially.
Her past is somewhat normal of a large family. Although she's the oldest, she's not the favored child. She strove very hard to impress her parents, but was always ignored and reduced to just a babysitter and another mouth to feed. She studied magic extensively, pouring over books every evening and barely sleeping at all during her high school years. She wanted to just go to a decent school, only to find out after getting her acceptance letter that her parents did not approve of magic users despite her natural talent for it. The rift between her and her family only got worse as she left for college and started figuring out more about herself. Her sexuality concerned them despite being none of their business, and her younger brothers weren't corrected when they called her slurs at her home visits.
Uncertain and conflicted about both her family and her social life, she spends most of her time now in the endless shelves of the library, determined to be the best magic user the world has seen. Unfortunately, magic is difficult to practice when you hold back. Will she become the best witch, or will that sadness end up losing her the title? Who knows!
