Known for his tyrannical rule and questionable politics, Bötz largely retains his position of power through fear-inducing propaganda as well as the support he receives from other Åsgardian socialites and VIPs. Although generally disliked in the Midgard regions, no real demonstrations towards the Bötz regime have ever occurred. Specialists suggest that this might be due to the fact that Midgard's recent industrial growth boom is a direct consequence of Bötz's future-oriented vision.

A charismatic individual with a cruel streak, Dwindle Odin Bötz is the youngest Patriarch to ever ascend the Åsgardian throne. He lives in near-isolation, shut away from the thick smog and noise of the city of Midgard below the Åsgardian borders, communicating with his people through the Trumen (or the Atomics, as they are known among the common folk). While he is acknowledged by other nations as a tyrant in the making, the election of Bötz has resulted in a generally thriving society where the people benefit greatly from the sometimes ridiculous levels of safety, rules and regulations. He is known to occasionally make speeches through Midgard's telecom systems, but other than that Mr. Bötz's public appearances are few and far-between.
