Taijey 'Tai' Koopa- The adventurous go-getter and the more outspoken of the two. She is brimming with positivity, charm, and even a bit of overconfidence in herself and others (often causing mishaps galore). She has a bad habit of charging into the situation without fully assessing all of the factors but this is often overlooked (by her) by her effort and 'never quit' attitude. It would seem that nothing could stop this koopa-except for one thing: Ghost Houses. Yes, this little energy filled, never-back-down koopa is terrified of ghosties, er..Boos. No one knows why...Unfortunately for her, Bumper knows how to convince her to step foot in one. At least she can confidently say that she's a coward, right? Other than that shes very caring of her friends; Very supportive of the less-than-confident Matthew, A little bit of a wise-crack with serious sorceress Marla (but still friendly), and extremely loyal to Bumper. Though she hates to admit it, she has a crush on Bumper, which causes her to seethe with a bit of rage when Marla teases her about it or fluster with jealousy when Marla flirts with him. Her favorite power up is the Super Bell.

Bernard 'Bumper' Koopa- The Quieter and well read, he tends to keep himself reserved but has a curious nature. He's an excellent judge of character and can always see the best in someone. His knowledge and compassion has helped him and his friends in numerous situation. While others have no trouble accepting any request of his, he has the uncanny ability to convince Tai to do the one thing she'd never do: Enter a Ghost House. All it takes is The Guilt Speech and the promise of a Super Bell to get her to go explore the one thing hes most fascinated with.

"Very Well Tai. I'll go...alone. To fend for myself against the supernatural while you stay at home with the pup. Don't send for additional help; I'm hopeful that I can survive on my own."

By that point he has Tai convinced. He never lets Tai's self sacrifices go unrewarded though, usually with a kiss on the cheek or an even split of the treasure that they find. In other cases he maintains a good friendship with the Magikoopa Twins. He only lets his friends call him by Bernard. His favorite power up is the Tanuki Leaf.

Additional Notes
-Neither of them can breathe fire unless they're ill or in possession of a fire based power up.
-Both of them share ownership of Blitz
