Once upon a time, in a sad and lonely kingdom, there was a dragon who lived miserably, barely able to survive out in the wilderness, away from her kin. She tried so hard to remain out of the reach of humans, keeping peace with them and minding her own business. That is, until one knight, a warrior from a far-off land happened upon her. He took no pity in her malnourished state, he only saw the gold he thought he would fetch for slaying such a beast. All it took was a single blow to her neck with his wicked axe, and soon enough he began to pull her detached skull the the nearby village to collect his rewards.

Whatever god she prayed to must have had a sick and twisted sense of humor. Whether it was pity or spite, it pumped life back into her body, leaving her heart filled with rage. Though weak in comparison to her brethren, her body set out on a rampage, obliterating her home in search for her missing head, until her god decided to awaken it as well. Her head violently tore the warrior apart, ignoring the sting of his weapon, writhing around somehow with a mysterious power. She could feel it, both her halves...

By the time her body and head returned to one another, they tried their hardest to pull themselves back together, only to realize that she would never be truly whole again.

Ages passed, civilization advanced, and the tale of what happened dissipated through the years. However, there are rumors... old and broken down castles inhabited by a strange blonde haired woman, who in some cases was said to be seen with her head and body disconnected. Or an apartment building long forgotten suddenly thrived with life again, a mysterious albeit short shadow walking through its halls.
