Roland Telbain was born in the year 0758 to his parents Mikhail Telbain and Telethia Thane. His entire childhood was spent learning the ways of the Sodality and of the Vargan Great Houses. He is the heir to the seat of the Master of House Telbain and has chosen to dedicate his life to the service of Luaere as his father has.

He is a Sodality paladin and is rumored to be one of the finest swordsmen in all of Vallhyn. He also wields the holy sword Retribution: an ancient artifact crafted by one of the very spirits that made the world.
