Crucis is an old character that I've been trying to find a place for again. He comes originally from a story in which there are various kinds of animal people who were artificially genetically engineered hundreds of years earlier - which I now know is a pretty poor background. Now they are degrading because the genetic engineering was imperfect and many generations down the line their genetics can't stand up. Hence, most of them have to have mechanical implants or transplants to keep their bodies working.
Crucis is a sociopathic taskmaster and troubleshooter for a global corporation that literally masquerades as a god. His eyes and the entire front plate of his skull have been replaced with an electronic visor, and his vital organs have been replaced with much smaller artificial ones. His empty abdomen now houses various cutting implements because I said so.
That's his pretty silly story, but I still enjoy drawing him now and then. This is an old picture, though.
