Commonly credited as the chief Builder of the World, and the first of nine.
Also commonly referred to as the Blind Goddess and the Lady of the Dead.

Most often depicted as a fair-skinned blonde woman with a veil over her eyes, wearing sandals and white shrouds.

She is the sister of the dark god Vandore, and is associated with the ideals of love and nurture.
She is also the patron saint of the Brotherhood of the Sacred Death, as well as many other major religions in the particular universe she was known in.

Legend has it that she and her brother were both born in the dark; when the first ray of the sun appeared to the world, she was permanently blinded by its light and had since veiled her eyes; some would say the veil over her eyes symbolized her approach to the world.
For the Blind Goddess was said to love everyone, regardless of differences between the races or the genders.
Even her brother Vandore was so loyal to her that he would have killed anyone to protect her, although other sources imply differently.

Whether she created the first Men and Beast People is unknown, but ultimately there are those who had seen her in her last moments of life.

Who knows how many years after the conception of the peoples of the world of Ana, conflict had grown among the Builders.

Pharod, ninth Builder of the World, had rebelled against the rest of the nine for not going farther than the simple creation of a world; he had suggested to rule it with an iron fist, to make their presence and omnipotence clearly known to all living creatures and to forever etch the image of their superiority into their history.

When his proposal was rejected in favour of a more pacifistic approach, he responded by unlocking a rift in reality, attracting many ancient monsters from forgotten times and worlds;
Fenris, the Norse wolf that was once said to have attempted eating the sun, and whose bite ended up inadvertently creating the first lycanthropes;
The ghosts of the Buckriders, cursed warriors who once rode goats in service to their old dark masters.

Wild dragons were summoned to the world to shroud it in fire, and daemons hid themselves in disguise among the common people.
Werewolves slowly spread their cursed gifts among villages, and all existing factions began to divide themselves into a movement of resistance.

After the rift was closed, Vandore and his legendary knights ensured the protection of the lady Ana, as other Builders began to unite the men and beast races against the terror of Pharod's deeds.

Vandore led an army to protect the peoples of the world, while Ana tended to the sick and wounded.

Alliances were made, and on came the War of Gods and Men.

After long months of battle and many losses on all side, the armies on all sides were decimated.
Pharod was arrested for treason, and banished to the depths of the Earth for his crimes against all of life.

Somewhere during this time, Ana died under mysterious circumstances.
From this moment on, the rest of the Builders slowly started to fade from existence.
Ana was never seen again, and Vandore hid away from the world in a since forgotten fortress.

Legend indeed does tell of a beautiful woman guiding the spirits of the deceased to their destination; a testament to the legacy of her deeds and those of others.
