Alaska is her own character, but is based largely on myself personality-wise. She's very much a loud-and-proud version of myself, and very extreme in a lot of ways. Because she's not my fursona or anything like that, she has her own aspects of her character that are NOT me, as well. Think of her as a personal mascot or a muse more than anything else!

Alaska is a Texas Pinata, rather than a real Mexican one. She was created in San Antonio in 1990 and as such doesn't really have any "family" to speak of. She has spent most of her life to date trying to ward off rumors that she is a cheap knockoff pinata (which she is) by speaking broken Spanish and adopting aspects of Mexican culture. She has lots of stories about being beaten by bats.

Extremely expressive with very over-the-top emotions. Alaska is loud and loves parties and enjoying herself and the company of others. Like any other pinata, she is the life of the party and loves to be the center of attention (so long as she's not getting hit with baseball bats). She keeps candy in her pouch so that people won't beat her for it. She is defensive about her origins but overall very friendly and passionate, although her personality can be very abrasive to some.

Because of her supposed Mexican culture, Alaska really enjoys traditional Mexican styles, holidays, cultural norms, etc. She pretends to know Spanish (but only knows very little), wears panchos, keeps Mexican candy in her pouch, paints her face up for Dia da los Muertos, and wears flowers in her hair on Cinco de Mayo!

Alaska has SEVEN spines at any given time - this is because the traditional Mexican pinata is a seven-pointed star. Since her patterns are made of tissue paper, she can change them up to be whatever she likes at any given time. She's easy to draw on (so temporary tattoos and markings are pretty doable), and sometimes she rips open, spilling candy. The bandaid on the bridge of her nose covers up a rip. It's too close to her eyes for her to properly repair, so she just keeps it patched up with a bandaid.
