He was discovered when he recognized the fugitive Matthew, wrongly accused of the murder of King Drakon after a deadly ambush.

Risking death by betraying his captor, he instead found his freedom after his former friend was forced to interrogate the Queen in a painful manner.

While bad blood was forged that day, he did find himself going along with Matthew and his beloved wife, hoping to rekindle old ties.

Over the years, his most important abilities became stealth-based; armed with his silver tongue and his nimble body, he learned to sneak and lie his way around people.

Unfortunately his isolation to the castle had also estranged him to the world in general, leading him to look and act totally out of place in the real world.
