An old, withering man with long strands of silvery hair and a slim build, dressing in red robes and supporting himself with a silver cane.

The Grand Master of the Hounds of Fenris, an ancient brotherhood proclaiming werewolfism is a gift given to humanity, so as to evolve them properly for a world of beast men; that the side of the beast is to be loved and appreciated for its virtues, not its flaws.

As a child he was bitten by the murderer of his parents, leaving him no other option than to withstand being forced out of his home community and on to the road.
Over months or years he learned to control his transformation, and to maintain clarity of thought despite the pressure of animal instincts threatening to overpower him.

Over time he found others like him, and was eventually invited by a secret organization.

There he was ordered to convert as many people as he could, so as to "spread the gift".

Many years did he work anonymously, relying on others to shield his identity as he spread the curse to many people.
But he also saw the pain of what he did to these poor victims; left to fend for themselves without support from anyone else, some went completely into emotional turmoil, no longer caring whether they were beasts or men.

It became his prerogative to make sure that this did not happen anymore: he proposed to the leading men to take in victims and provide support and discipline to prevent them from making grave mistakes in life.
As his proposal was rejected, he challenged the Grand Master of the time to a duel.

After a long battle, he became known as the new Grand Master, taking complete control over the organization and turning them from a band of miscreants into a home for society's rejects.
Under his leadership, many men were rehabilitated back into normal life...albeit with some limitations.

Unfortunately for some, this also meant that the hunters of demons and monsters now had to deal with a blurred distinction between man and monster.

In the meantime, this man happily looked out towards his final days; for he knew he had been kind to people.
