Sardius Quilllton is Ricky's solemn boyfriend and the back up vocalist and guitarist of Sunspot. Though he was a guarded person before, he's become more outgoing after befriending and dating Ricky for most of his adult life. He is a bearded vulture and works as an apprentice designer.

During college, Sardius mostly kept to himself and focused on his school work. He had relationships in the past, he dated two girls in high school and a tougher relationship with a trans-man. Since he never had much luck with dating, he considered it a distraction and feared commitment. He befriended Teddy during their freshman year, and was later introduced to Ricky. They all made fast friends, and being in the band helped him to grow closer to Ricky, and they were officially boyfriends their senior year. He and Ricky are current domestic partners.

Sardius is polysexual, meaning that he can be attracted to multiple genders and sexes, but not all of them like pansexuality. Since lammergeiers are dark as juveniles and gain white feathers with adulthood, dying their plumage in colored dyes or dust was a cultural practice hundreds to thousands of years ago, though nowadays it's something done during puberty. He mainly eats bones of wild animals, but will eat meat during meals or when it's offered

Sardius' hobbies include karaoke, singing, and songwriting. His favorite food is turkey bones.
