Skipper was first found by Rufus on his travels around the land. Skipper was just a foal at the time and lived in a herd, in till one day where his leg became injured from falling down into a dyke and a crystal like shard imbedded into his leg. Rufus hearing the cry's of a horse searched high and low for the source of the noise till seeing a mare standing at the top of a Dyke.

Rufus looked down to see this Foal struggling to move with blood slowly dripping from its legs. carefully scaling down into the dyke Rufus got to the Foal and treated his wounds, Rufus noticed that the Foals legs were starting to become more colder and changing color, he was worried that the foal lost so much blood that the legs would have started to necrosis.

But after removing the foreign body for the foal leg the skin tissue Iced over turning the foals fur on his legs a purr white color, the foals mane turned a shade of blue which when touched gave of a misty snowflake effect. Rufus then made a rope harness and strapped the foal to his back. carrying the foal out of the dyke, as Rufus reached the top the mare which once stood at the top was no where to be seen.

Rufus then forth took great care in the Foal raising him up, training him and strengthening the noble steed till he became a strong stallion and a great companion and friend to Rufus
