(( please ignore the crud. this story is still being worked on like crazy. ))

They were normal humans, Dom being 14 and Quinn being around 19. In their society, the government tries to keep vampires, werewolves, etc as the "myths" the public believe them to be. But a murderous werewolf was loose in a neighborhood. The government organization, PED (ParanormalExterminationDepartment), had surrounded the lycan's hideout, but he turned and broke free, and bolted straight for a residential area.

He crashes through the window of a home, and the parents of the home come downstairs to see what was going on. Armed with nothing but a bat, they were helpless against the lycan's claws and teeth. Their screams awaken the boys, and they emerge from their beds to discover their parents being gnawed on. Preoccupied with his kills, the lycan hardly pays the boys any mind, and merely swipes wildly at them to scare them off. Still, the claws cut through the boys' flesh with ease, Dom suffering broad gashes on the right of his skull and Quinn across the right shoulder and chest.

The PED burst into the home, and their electronically powered chain-guns wrap the lycan. The blinding bolts of electricity crackle and pop through the room, illuminating the four blood-soaked bodies on the floor, revealing that the two boys - though terribly wounded - are alive. The electricity forces the lycan to shrink back into his weaker human form, and he is dragged off. The two survivors are also carried to the trucks, and the home is quickly burned to the ground and marked as an accidental electrical fire to cover up the real occurrences.

Back at their headquarters, the superiors of the PED are faced with a hard choice. Normally, those bitten are swiftly eliminated. But these are young, malleable boys with the will to survive.. not to mention their hearts would soon be filled with hate toward the 'monsters' due to their parents' murder. So, what to do? They decide to give the boys military training and mold them into soldiers. And once their first change comes along, they could use that to hunt down the most wanted criminals in the world - paranormal or not. They would be the ultimate police dogs. All he'd need to do is convince them..

Now Dom is 20 and Quinn is 25, both skilled warriors and officers for PED. During off-hours, they enjoy games and music like most other young men. But when the hunt is on, they take the shape of their massive wolf forms, and put their tuned instincts and senses to use in hunting the most awful criminals known.
