My character Talo from the series Blood Remembers, a werewolf hunter who never gave up the hunt even after she was cursed. Shes a very dark character and antagonistic in design but a lot of fun. I created her for the deviant art group Silver & Bone and occasionally RP her.

She has plans in the long run, but she may die before I complete them. Tragedy follows in her wake.

I have made many werewolf characters before but her wolf is one of the nastiest, called Winter and has nothing but hatred for the woman whose body she is stuck inside. The feeling is mutual.

Personality:

Talo is a rather dark soul, her childhood detachment certainly didn't help, nor her first experience with wolves. She grew up a hunter, and even after being bitten that has never changed. Some might consider her just a slight bit insane, particularly when they learn about her tendency to eat certain wolves. That being said, the side of Talo you meet, largely depends on what she needs from you. She's a surprisingly good liar, very good at faking aspects of body language and even her scent by forcing her to feel whatever emotion she's wanting to portray genuinely. There's a bit of detachment in her when it comes to things that would bother most people, while other triggers will make her surprisingly angry. She's stubborn about her targets, usually taking as much as a year to work a kill.
Please don't ask about her brother.

Winter, her wolf, on the other hand is extremely violent and perverse, more so than even Talo, but at the same time is broken and bound in servitude to her alpha Angelo. Years of torture have beaten down Winter into a submissive state around the man. Watching Winter act like this fills Talo with joy, who wants nothing more than to see her wolf dead, while Winter takes pleasure in killing innocents just to unnerve and destroy Talo. This self destructive aspect is pretty much the only thing her two sides agree on.

Background:

She was born into a Lakota/Sioux family in South Dakota. When she was roughly four, her, and her older brother were taken by the state into foster care (an increasingly common IRL issue), simply because their parents were living in a more traditional atmosphere. She was placed into a christian foster family, and then bounced from one to another after each would tire of her. She learned to lie, and fake herself at a young age in this environment, and only left it when her brother and her ended up in the same home when she was around 9. The two went to live on their own in the wild, and live like their ancestors once did. They happened upon a rather cruel and hungry wolf named Blackjack (Re: the story 'Cold') in the wilds of the black hills, whom ate her brother and left her severely emotionally scarred.

Upon returning to civilization, she spoke of terrible things, and was quietly taken in by the church. She was a useful tool, taught skills to hunt wolves who had done similar things. She quickly excelled at hunting younger wolves, always keeping out for signs on her true goal. Eventually she managed to track down Blackjack, got close to him, poisoned him with tiny bits of silver for a long period of time, and then tracked him down and killed him. During the encounter, while she did take his life, he bit her and passed on the curse.

She became what she hated, and that tore her apart, driving her closer to the church despite her very not-christian viewpoint. She found herself loving her wolf, which made her loathe herself even more, and took it out on other wolves. A few specific wolves in particular set off triggers from her childhood, and she ended up eating them instead of just killing them with silver. These days she's not even shy to admit that she hunts, kills, and occasionally eats others of her kind.

She was taken in by a man named Father Angelo, who helped to subdue her wolf, turning her into a submissive creature around him, and trained Talo fully as a huntress. She’s been used by him as a weapon to take out rival wolves, trouble makers, and the like, though she has little care that she’s being used if she even realizes it. She’s grown to be a surprisingly effective knife despite her unstable nature.
