Kanares Darkfire is my Pony OC. He operates a fireworks store in Ponyville with his parents, his Cutie Mark is a blue fireball, and while he looks completely uninterested, he's actually quite the optimist. In terms of height, he's quite shorter than Big Macintosh, but is slightly taller than most ponies in his age group.

His mother's name is Midnight Serenade, a Pegasus, and she was a champion flier back in the day, but retired in the early stages of her pregnancy. His father is Argus Darkfire, an Earth Pony, and owner of the Darkfire Fireworks Emporium (name still a work in progress), a well-known business all across Equestria.

Kanares got his eyes and mane color from his father, while getting his species and coat color from his mother. While he may come across as distant and disinterested, he cares deeply about his friends, and has a passion for working the family business.

Fun facts: Pinkie Pie is a regular customer at their business. He has a crush on Fluttershy. He takes a pointed interest in studying magic, despite his inability to utilize it.
