Laria is Salias's imaginary friend. Laria is actually a visual embodiment of some mild psychic abilities that Salias is not aware she possesses. Whenever she's very emotional or frantic, objects might shift, etc. if she is in need of defense. From her perspective, Laria is jumping in and helping out, so nothing seems supernatural to her.
