Ancient, greedy Baron Bosmund, the Rotlord, corpulent and swirling and crawling with pests of the sea and air alike. Foul, dark liquids spill from his ever-rotting corpse as he shambles and waddles across his stretch of marshlands in the depths of Hel, demanding taxes and sacrifice from his equally rotten underlings. His rotten personality is probably what prevents him from being invited to Dáin parties. Well... that, and the fact he smells like fermented fish, raw sewage and the combined efforts of six unearthed mass graves, of course.
Baron Bosmund Brandt was the first man to ever die from the plague. He rose from the dead due to the ministrations of Blóðughadda the Jotun and was expelled from his abode in Åsgard by then-Patriarch Marciello Bötz. Brandt made his new nest in the swamps of Helheim, where he also became the Dáin Baron (or Horseman) of Pestilence. Exactly what became of Brandt thereafter is unknown, but his cruel, booming laughter still rings throughout Helheim when taxes are to be collected. He probably thinks tax collecting is incredibly humorous.
