Shinigami is a half demon, sometime he was an ordinary dog who loved and was loved but now he hardly has memories of these times. On his foreleg he wears a necklace which a lettering can be read:"In nomine Patris et Filio et Spiritio Sancti". He doesn't know whom he got but knows, somehow it is connected with his past.

One self of Shinigami is brutal and cruel demon who obey his master's orders, and kill those who deserves death or wish for it, but his other self is a gentle and naive dog. His master drew on his naivety and persuaded him that killing sinful souls is a right thing and makes the world better. But how could killing bring justice to this world?
