HISTORY:
Patchwork first came to Neigh Town as a young filly with her mother and two little sisters. Her mother had excepted a job as a journalist for the paper. Patchwork got along fine in her new town she made friends easier and was enjoying life more than when she lived in Appleloosa. Patchwork recieved her cutiemark when she made her sister her own special dress for her birthday. Having only a single working parent ment that Patchwork's family had little money, and when her youngest sister's birthday came around they simply didn't have the money to buy a dress she had been asking for. Patchwork had always been the member of the family to patch up clothes and sew. So when it became apparent that they didn't have the money to buy her sister a new dress, she decided to test just how well she could sew and made her sister a dress out of all her old, too small clothes. It was a task she found surprisingly simple. And when her sister adored her dress, Patchwork realized her talent and her cutiemark appeared.

As she grew up Patchwork's life had hardly any sorrows. After school she left to work in fashion in Manehatten. After a few years she came back to Neigh Town to visit family. She met up with an old friend, Pricklepear, and a romance blossomed between them. Patchwork moved back to Neigh Town and set up her own fabric store and boutique. She later married Pricklepear and became a mother to triplet foals, Willy, Nilly, and Tilly. Life was good for about a year till Pricklepear, who was working in the Rainbow Mines, was killed when a tunnel collapsed. Patchwork was heart broken and couldn't bring herself to stay in Neigh Town, and soon left, raising her foals in Manehatten. Patchwork Lived in Manehatten for the next couple of decades. But when her foals grew up and moved away and had foals of their own. She felt alone in her empty house and found herself thinking of Pricklepear more often than usual. After being away from Neigh Town for so many years she decided to move back to be with her younger sisters. When she arrived she was stunned at how lifeless her once crowded, lively town was. When she spoke with her sisters she found that the Rainbow Mines had been closed. When the Rainbow Mines closed most of the residents left and the town died. Patchwork hated seeing the town that both Pricklepear and herself had loved fade to nothing, so she decided she'd do what she could to help. She reopened her fabric shop and sold fabrics as well as blankest and the like. Leaving the boutique for the younger ponies. Patchwork is determined to do all she can for her town and to live out her remaining days there just like her Pricklepear had.
