Sticking to the character, not her place in the Order of Dragons storyline...

Thora's official title is "Emerald Dragoness of the North" though she prefers to be known as the Emerald Dragoness.

PERSONALITY: Thora is a very proud Dragoness, and doesn't scare away easy. She is fiercely defensive of those she cares about, to the point of being overly obsessive about them... nearly smothering them with her attention and adoration... seldom allowing them out of her range of senses and being overly sensitive to their emotions or lack there of. However, few know this side of Thora as she has issues with "letting others in" -- from her years of dwelling alone in a cliff side cavern she had come to dislike the company of others. So, getting her out of her shell may be difficult.

COLORS: Thora actually shifts colors. So while she's known as an Emerald Dragoness, she actually goes between colors depending on the season. In the Summer, her scales are a vibrant Emerald hue, allowing her to blend well amongst the local foliage. In the Fall, her scales lose the blue pigment causing them to go from Emerald to Gold... starting at her extremities and points (muzzle, tail tip) and moving towards the core of her body. During this time she's EXTREMELY vulnerable to both predator and prey as her still Emerald hue causes her to stick out amongst the russet landscape. During the Winter she is entirely golden which allows her to immerse herself in her hoard pile of gold while she sleeps off the coldest month of the winter. She is incredibly well camouflaged with her hoard... her eyes even look like rubies amongst the spoils! Finally, in the Spring her golden scales drop out as new re-pigmented Emerald scales push through. The re-pigmented scales start reappearing at the top of her body and slowly blend further down as the Spring weather increases in temperature. Her mane color darkens in the winter and lightens in the Summer.

All in all she is a very complex Dragoness. Befriending her is difficult to do, but well worth it
