Grumpy's real name is not spoken because
1. its stupidly long
2. every time jangbu tries to pronounce it he gets a headache so he simply nicknamed her Grumpy.

Some facts:

1. She is grumpy for a young foo dog she retains her grumpiness in public
2. She is a powerful earth magic user and can speak to plants, she understands them.
3. Unlike her mother she eats fish and will attack another if they deserve it.
4. She is good friends with those who live in Jangbu's woodland and loves to explore, but does not like human civilization or man made buildings.
5. She has a fear of marshmallow and loves storybooks and bumblebees.
