Fora is an environmentally aware squirrel who has kind of taken on the roll of "big sister" to her best friend, Harriet. However, she eventually grew very close to the hedgehog, developing a sort of crush on her.

She's very energetic and active - happiest when she's working with her hands. She likes to grow plants that are native to her home state of North Carolina, like muscadine, maypop and pawpaw.

Although she is very helpful and loving, she can also be very jealous, growing especially vindictive against anyone who eats up too much of Harriet's attention. That being said, she is able to work around her own jealousy to be there for her friends when they need her help or advice. She's prone to fits of emotion, but can be rationalized with.

Despite the aforementioned, she is very responsible for herself and others.

She has a brother whom she does not get along with named E. Richter. The E stands for Edward. Probably unnecessary, but the pun was too much not to go with it.

She has a bit of a dominant personality, and will try to take advantage of another's submissiveness if she is able. Probably what she found so interesting about Harriet in the first place.
