This one was originally two different people; an orphan girl born from a white dragon and a human, adopted by a family of wolf people and frequently bullied for her being much different from the norm.

Anissa Stormwind, they called her; Stormwind usually a surname given to children of unknown origins as she was.

The other a young Gnoll warrior called Helena Quidel, or Burning Torch as her brethren would sometimes call her.
Not an unknown origin, just an apostate of her tribe trying to find her way in the more modern city.

Anissa was the original founder of an organization with the purpose to unite the races of humanity and beast people, a rather mellow type.

As the leadership she grew up under began to imprison humans in camps and she was repeatedly ostracized for her more reptilian origins, she and her adoptive sister, a wolf girl, decided to start to rally the people around them to try and make some advancements for a more open society.

As Matthew Wolfbane and his companions eventually crossed paths with her, they grew somewhat familiar with eachother and exchanged some ideas.
They became friends, but never got quite as close as they'd have liked.

When the Alexandrian Empire was eventually established, though, she was adopted into the department of medical sciences and became the very standard of improvement that would be imitated for centuries after.
Under her leading research, a cure for cancer and many other debilitating diseases would be found.
After medicine worked out well, she abandoned it and left it to the hundreds of other people she trained over the years.

Then she pursued the invention of various kinds of steam and energy-based engines and machinery, eventually refining the concepts of space travel and mechanical prosthetics.

During one of her other experiments, she tested out a teleportation device that would make travel between countries much faster and safer.
A young intern of a neighbouring gnoll tribe, named Helena, would then try to assist her in adjusting the various kinds of settings and technical properties.

Unfortunately, during one test run there was an electrical failure.
As they were both simultaneously testing transportation pods, they were fused into one body.
This would cause an intense bout of trauma, both physical and mental, confining them to the hospital for months as doctors tried their best to improve their state.

Eventually, they woke up in confusion.

They freaked out many times, not sure what to expect from the people treating them.

After a while, a young gold-furred fox woman came to see them, to try and help them.
Taena (Tayna, or alternatively Tanya) Haslinger, as she was called, visited them each day for a psychiatric session followed by rest.
When their situation began improving, and they started to gain a new sense of self, the sessions became less formal and friendlier in nature.

They, now she, began to exercise in physical activities, working out as a way of regaining her former strength.
After finally being discharged from the hospital, she moved in with her psychiatrist.
Both as a way of expressing her affection, and as a way of reconnecting with life again.

After a long while, she was eventually taken on as Emperor Matthew's personal bodyguard; securing their financial future for the many years to come.

She's rather fond of all kinds of meat, and also seems to have a sweet tooth for heavy drinks; as a fire-breather, her body grants her a high immunity to many kinds of toxins including alcohol.
