Jethro is rare subspecies of tiger, known as the South China tiger. After a horrific accident that crushed most of his skull, scientists decided to save him by repairing his brain and skull mechanically. He still has most of his memories and emotions, but they are sketchy at times. He now spends his days as a mercenary for hire. During his travels, he meets a gentle, yet skilled fox priest that he grows quite fond of.
