Sigmund is a middle aged Grizzly bear that spent his early years in an animal care facility, due to his family being separated. Since his other brothers were almost identical to one another, his caretakers made a small star marking on his shoulder with fur dye to tell them apart. He's had it ever since.
Sigmund is very docile, and very lazy. A few years after he and his brothers and sisters were released into the wild, he found a large pair of rain galoshes with tiny white anchors on them. He stepped into them, and he always has worn them since. <3
