"Ruby was never the most social girl in the world. Throughout high school she never had all that many friends and to make matters worse, the last couple of years of school were made even more difficult by a diagnosis of schizophrenia.
Yep, she's schizophrenic. A milder case than most but she still has it and still has to learn to deal with it. Ever since then people have either treated her like she was nuts or treated her like she needed help with everything (which seems to be the case). She finally grew sick of it and grabbed her best friend Kenneth and moved out of the house. With the help of some cash from her parents, Kenneth and her newly accquired job, she's out to prove that she can take care of herself, despite her anti-social tendencies and her mental illness. That is, unless her "friend", Hector has anything to say about it.
