Matt Azure is one half of the Defender's "public relations" team, the Golden Guardians. Matt is a special Zyearthling because of his relation to his Lexi Gem. He was BlackBound, meaning he bound himself to his Gem rather than having someone else bind him to it. Matt's BlackBinding is especially unusual, because not only did he bind himself, but he also bound Izzy Gildspine with her Gem and he bound the two Gems together - the only Faunos in Zyearth history to do so.

THE ART: I'm pretty dang pleased with this piece. I haven't really tried tackling real detailed work like this in a while, so I'm darn happy with how this came out.

I will say that the clothing is really just lazy shading, but the fur work on his face and arm really make up for that.
