Anabelle is a sassy aquatic lady who enjoys believing herself to be the top of the food chain! (But there are certain much bigger monsters in the sea than herself) Swimming, chasing fish, and exploring what she can of the ocean are her favorite things in life. While she is perfectly capable of living on land, she spends most of her time in the water enjoying herself. She is a very free spirit and is not terribly serious about much of anything.

Anabelle is mainly only interested in doing things that amuse her. For example, she tends to treat everyone she meets as if she is sizing them up for her next meal. She is highly amused by watching others, especially land lubbers, squirm and otherwise be uncomfortable around her. For the most part though she has no natural inclination to make good on that "threat"; she is just interested in the power of this mind game.

Due to her treatment of others, Anabelle is more likely to have casual acquaintances than close friends, but that suits her just fine. She prefers the freedom of not being tied down by others and their needs. She is also perfectly fine with the company of herself and can go for a few weeks at a time without interacting with anyone.

Her body is capable of sustaining the intense pressure of the deep sea, and she is rather physically strong to boot. As well, her eyes, markings, and fins are capable of bio-luminescence, which is voluntarily controlled.
