Alpha's Death:
After he reads Shodai’s letter, he tried to find out if it is really true. As he saw, how Shodai’s coffin was carried out of the Atheroth’s residence, he went back home and decides to punish himself for the rest of his life by telling a doctor to implant golden steel parts into his body, which will mind into his skin, causing pain and let him bleed.
He didn’t stand this torture for a long time. One day his servants found him laying on the stairway, with his blood coagulating out of the implants and running down the stairs.
This happens one week after Shodai’s death

This is Alpha Asadae Carnvalia, the Head of Life, sitting on his throne in his Palace called Heaven's Gate^--^
He and Shodai were a couple when they were alife. But over some decades, after Shodai committed suicide, the two couldn't meet, until Shodai finally found out in the 20th century, that there is a Head of Life existing^^ So he could finally meet Alpha again. Sadly (for Alpha) Shodai was together with Enma then. But don't worry, Alpha found a new love later^^

The golden parts on his body are veigns, that he let a doctor implant onto his skin, for causing him pain, so he will never forget, that he is one reason, that Shodai committed suicide. (Shodai killed himself, because he wasn't allowed to visit Alpha anymore)
