Jek is a satyr who lives on Mount Iz in the land of Orium, and in the small village of Austras. He is thirty five years old, is at a rather average height for his age (five feet even), has dark brown hair and brown eyes, has dark brown skin, doesn’t carry much muscle on him, and detests most everything. He’s lived a quiet life, having grown up in an apple orchard in the rural farming town of Tracea with his mother and brother.

His temper is that of an old dog who's been pushed too far and is always on edge- but that's only when you first meet him. He's actually very shy, despite his initial abrasive attitude. His favourite food is apples- specifically, the ones his mother would pick on the orchard he was raised on. When he's with friends (read: no one, before the story starts) he often goes on about the pie she would bake and how delicious it was.

He has a brother- eleven years younger than him- but since they split fifteen years ago, he hasn't seen him in a while.
