Ed originated from a game of RIFTS that I played years ago. He began life as a mutant hyena version of Rambo, a fugitive on the run who picked off his pursuers in various terrifying ways involving traps, rocks, and good old shooting. He and his partner went on numerous adventures throughout the post-apocalyptic American Southwest, fighting vampires and giant rhino-buffalo in-between kicking the mafia's tail.

Probably had the happiest ending of any of my characters, he and his partner ended up being transported to modern day, mundane Las Vegas, promptly used their psychic powers to win the lottery, and lived out the rest of their days as billionaire playboys.

There's not much else to say about Ed. He considered himself the post-apocalyptic equivalent of a paladin, protecting the weak from the wicked, usually by blowing the wicked in half with a really big gun. He liked motorcycles and absolutely hated MREs and chipped beef on toast. Which was unfortunate because the only food their stolen government APC had in it was chipped beef on toast MREs.
