Capital Vice was born a unicorn to a Pegasus mother, Elysium, and an alicorn father, Nocte. Her older sister is a former alicorn named Tanetane. Both of them were born with horn defects. The ivory in Tanetane's horn was too thick and her horn was crooked. Vice's problem, however, was that her horn was too thin and weak.

During an accident, Capital Vice chipped the tip of her horn off. Though the horn was mended with a golden replacement, her magic was defected still and is still very dangerous and uncontrollable.

Capital Vice eventually became an alicorn, after Tanetane offered Vice her wings.

Along with horn defects, Capital Vice has OCD She was predisposed to become depressed and it hit her hard later in life. Capital Vice inherited most of her traits from her father, down to the tendency of her eyes dilating to become dragon like.

Capital Vice is a prominent member of a 'guild' called The Golden Serpents. The Golden Serpents are infamous for their shady, ambiguous activity

Her interests include reading, horror stories, reptiles, writing, playing the violin. She sometimes dabbles in drawing, though never became quite good at it.

Capital Vice is an alicorn with a rather tall build, though not as tall as canon alicorns such as Celestia. I would say she's taller than Twilight, shorter than Luna. Her mane is not of cosmic material, but is it rather lax and long. At time she's too lazy to brush her hair, making it look rather ragged. One wonders why she doesn't cut it shorter, to make it easier to manage.

Her coat color is a dull gray green, with her main mane color being a dark variant on that gray/green shade. She has off white stripes going down her mane, one stripe at the borders, the other in the middle. The off white stripes are a dull color as well, with a slight tint of green. Her eyes are an understated yellow, almost gold but not quite as bright. When Vice was young and innocent, her eyes were ordinary, but now she has dragon-like pupils on and off as a sign of corruption.

(Dragon-like pupils, and even fangs, is much more common in this AU than it would be in canon. It originated from the "original link", where the alicorn population first began to grow. No one knows, however, what first caused the dragon like eyes and why they appear in instances of corrupted ponies.)

Her wing feathers are the same color of her secondary mane color, the off white stripes. It's not known why her wings aren't completely the color of her coat, but it's guessed that Tanetane's spell didn't work completely right when she gave Tane gave Vice her wings.

She has some royal accessories that Vice adores to wear. Her favorite, a dull golden crown that looks as if it's merely bronze painted with a layer of yellow paint, has a giant, cut ruby in the center. She has a golden tail band, which Vice wears in casual times.

Vice's Cutie Mark is a crown, identical to her actual crown (and modeled after it, actually). Under the crown, are two fangs of a snake. One fang represents greed, and the other sloth/apathy.

Capital Vice is an irritable, self centered individual. She is not a morning person, and prefers to take residence in indoor places. Her dragon-like pupils make her sensitive to light, so Vice prefers environments with a bit of shade, at the least. Besides, Vice always liked being indoors better than outdoors. She finds many things, like wet grass and insects to be disgusting. It's less because of prissy-ness and more because of her OCD, which demands her to be very clean, as well as completely pointless rituals.

These pointless rituals are just little things Vice has to do, or else it will eat away at the back of her mind until she gives up. They're nothing major or crippling, but they may seem weird to an observing pony (which is why she does it in the safety of privacy.) Most of her rituals consist of her reciting a certain phrase until she feels it's fine to stop, or drawing symbols in the air with her hooves. These symbols and phrases usually have something meaningful to Capital Vice, that make her feel safe. However, she does not feel safe or comfortable if Vice doesn't reenact these habits whenever she has the itch to.

Vice is a creature of habit, as well. If one thing doesn't go as "scheduled", everything falls apart. Not to say that Vice actually schedules anything, it's just that one little difference from the usual can throw off Vice's biological clock. Her sleeping schedule can be disrupted so easily, and it's hard for her to maintain a regular sleep time and a regular time to awake. For that matter, it's hard for Vice to wake up in the morning at all. Even if she absolutely needs to wake up, Vice might decide to let immaturity take over and shut down, going back to sleep and ignoring responsibility. This lack of self control hurts Vice a lot, and it's hard to break old, self destructive habits. Honestly, Capital Vice could not care less.

But it's never enough for her. Sleeping the morning away, and not attending lessons as she should, that one little luxury she didn't deserve, never makes her happy. It makes her feel worse, makes her feel unsatisfied, makes her to give into temptation more. All Vice wants to do is to take it easy, to never acknowledge responsibility if it inconveniences her. She cares less if neglecting to do what she must hurts those around her.

Vice doesn't care much for herself, either. She doesn't take care of herself, and only does the basics, like take baths and maybe give her hair a couple brushes. Being a disorganized soul, Vice doesn't bother to clean up her messes and is perfectly comfortable with that. She is more concerned with comfort than beauty and cleanliness. If she could have it her way, Vice would never have anything productive to do ever. On lazy days, Vice tends to sleep and sun bathe during uneventful days, which she enjoys the most.
