At the young age of 3 weeks old, Jenny was abandoned by her parents; who are still unidentified to this day. She was placed in a state orphanage, but 6months later relocated to the Mt. Hope Orphanage and Reform School For Girls. Relocation was the cause of a previous business matter between the state and the school (in place since 1974). Once at Mt. Hope, the orphan simply known as Jenny was given the name Jennifer Orphan; or Jenny O. Jenny has spent the entirety of her young life at the Mt. Hope Orphanage, and will not be allowed to leave until she reached adulthood (which is 21). Over the years, Jenny has been brought up as a young Catholic girl, and receiving a rich Catholic education. Being an orphan, Jenny has been victim of abuse and neglect, and by law has no real rights as a child. From Kindergarten up until the 6th grade, the school stressed the importance of being a lady as well as many other important aspects. 7th Grade was the real turning point in her life. This grade marked her teenage years and in the eyes of the school, the beginning of becoming a woman. This marked the years of complicated feelings, and discovering who she is. It also marked the year that physical punishment was allowed (i.e. the straitjacket). As the years went on, the level of expectations as well as consequences went up. Over the next several years, Jenny would discover much about herself. Being in an all girls school truly influenced her sexual preference of becoming a lesbian. She was in love with girls, but this was frowned upon in the school. She also started to develop her rebel ways, and the need to feel like an individual. The actions she would take regularly led her to spend a great deal of time wrapped up tight in a straitjacket and spending time in a padded cell alone. When locked in solitary, Jenny may only be visited by a nurse twice a day, and this seclusion would last anywhere from a few hours to a few weeks. Because of a constant aloneness, Jenny would also be forced to depend on diapers to relieve herself while in solitary. Normally after spending a great deal of time in solitary, she would become incontinent. Being incontinent not only haunted her in her teen years, it also was a great childhood problem for her until 3rd grade (Jenny actually learned potty training from a close friend at the school). As her visits to the detention center’s psych ward increased, method of dealing with Jenny’s issues started to vary when brought in. Still as of today, Jenny is classified as an “Insane” and “Dangerous” student. If Jenny still has her “Insane” and “Dangerous” classification by her adulthood release date, she will not be given full citizenship and be released to uptake a normal life; instead she will be committed to a state insane asylum. Until adulthood, though, Jenny will continue her studies at Mt. Hope. After graduating high school, she will automatically be enrolled into a nursing program at Mt. Hope. As of today, Jenny is a Senior in High School. She partakes in cheerleading, softball, pep club, FHA, tutoring, and student council. Jenny is a spunky and fun loving girl, and even though she has been put through hell, she still has a positive attitude towards life.
