Nil is my custom species of creatures that refer to themselves as Changelings. Changelings never quite stick to a specific form but the giveaway is specific skull-like facial markings, neck fluff and long dragon-like tails. Cloven hooves are the sign of a powerful or accomplished Changeling. Nil prefers to stay in a critter/familiar form that resembles a skinny feral skull cat and often hides her wings.

Changelings ages are a mystery for they sleep in hibernating cycles to lengthen their lifespans. This process usually invovles siphoning extra time from trees or other creatures to lend out their magic in return. Changelings have not only the ability to turn into any species but can slip into dreams, learn languages incredibly quickly and manipualte lifeforce (vitae) into an element.

Nil is perky yet mischievous and will do whatever she can for her allies. If you want a someone to help you survive in the wilderness, Nil is your girl but she has a terrible sense of direction (so you'll be lost but never without means).
