Occam is a member of a species known as the Wolfskunks of Canmeph II, developed by strredwolf. In my backstory, Canmeph and Earth made first contact around 2080, becoming partners when Earth and the crew of a crashed Canmephian vessel built a starfaring ship to help them return home. This partnership extends into the future, and as such, the Canmephians are charter members of a little-known organization called the United Federation of Planets.

Occam hirself is an Explorer-breed Wolfskunk, standing precisely three meters tall (roughly average for hir people), and serves about the M.F.S. Event Horizon as a science officer, specifically an archaeologist. That being said, while shi would rather hir investigations pan out more like a real-life archaeological dig, shi often ends up being more akin to archaeologists like Indiana Jones or Lara Croft. :D
