Umbris is a rather mysterious fellow, though his looks make him appear young, he has wisdom beyond his years. His past shrouded in dark and known to very few. He runs an odds and ends store off in the corners of the major city Westburn. Umbris tends to be a recluse and generally doesn't like company, if it wasn't for the resources the city had to offer in the schools of magic, he would be content living alone in a cabin far off from civilization. Aside from running his store, Umbris is always in search for greater knowledge of the magical forces of the world, going on long expeditions to ruins all around the globe, hoping to find fragments of the ancient's civilizations. Though Umbris is almost fanatical about his magical studies, he doesn't have the innate ability to control it, so he has gone through the lengthy process of acquiring gems that can be used as conduits for magical energies, allowing him to use and even combine magical elements. With these tools in hand Umbris continues his search for knowledge, though he is about to become involved in something much bigger than he could have ever imagined.
