Gasatsu is a ghoul of myth, a tengu of ancient Japan. Ridiculously dressed and spoken-for, he is an infamous trickster and general annoyance.

He is a crude creature with little mind for the emotions or feelings of others. He has a detachment toward mortals but quite an affinity for other wondrous beings like himself, or those of even of greater importance. He is magical, capable of shape-shifting between three relativity similar versions of himself: a karasu tengu, a hanataka tengu and a simple ferial (and oversized) crow. He can also manipulate wind to some degree, fly, invade dreams and enlarge the noses of others to mirror that of his own. He displays an uncanny clumsiness and overall lack of finesse. Gasatsu is something of an alcoholic and a tainted heartbreak with all intentions to pass along crankiness and immaturity to everyone he encounters.
