13 is a spirit from another world who was born into this one, as his mother had to escape so that he could be born safely. He was raised by a human girl in a city as her cat, but he would often go out and get into scuffles with alley cats. It was soon apparent to the girl that 13 was much smarter than a regular cat and he quickly learned to speak English. 13 and his owner kept his secret and he discovered that he could change into a human if he wanted too, thus he began leading double lives. 13 became a very skilled thief and stole stolen money and valuables back from criminals and returned them. One night after stealing back a priceless painting, he was shot in the eye and had it removed by a doctor. He then with the help of the girl who had adopted him as a kitten, created a clawed glove that he could defend himself with, but could be retracted when not in use. he then continued his life as a thieves thief until one day everything changed...

• as a bad luck spirit his most major ability is that he can subtly influence the luck/karma around a certain person or people making bad things happen to them. It also progressively gets worse for them as more and more mishaps happen, until a piano falls on you or something. As things get worse though, he also gets considerably more worn out. The size of the group also affects how tired it makes him. He also must stay near the person/s to influence them and it works best when he stays out of their sight. This is often dismissed as a fairly useless ability, but it is more effective (and dangerous) that it seems.
