So I got bored at one point and decided to color the Kymera lineart instead of finishing any of my more permanent characters. I think I just wanted to see what colours she would actually be and what design to put on her.

Anyway this is the main character of a story from my head, though I've since changed around the setting maybe whatever. Originally it was in a sort of alternate medieval setting, but I might have switched it to a weird modern setting instead. Story type is apocalyptic? Or trying to prevent the apocalypse? Something like that. I don't really write my head stories down anyway. No official name for her yet, but she gets called Kymera (Chimera) because of her very very mixed heritage.
Right now she has feline and/or canine base (striped hyena markings?) with ram horns, reptile scales, bird feathers (raven or other dark bird?), and shark tail fins from her tail.

This version of her is pretty rough around the edges since she never lived in a town/city/village as her parents raised her in their cabin in the woods. Definitely a fighter and not afraid to get her hands dirty, but pretty nervous around new people since she doesn't really know social norms other than what her parents taught her. Loves to climb trees and swim and run on all fours (which isn't really common anymore).

To add to that. She loves playing around with the wildlife and especially loves "playing" with the ones that try to eat up her garden.

It is extremely frowned upon to marry within a different Phylum, even amongst the lowest class. Children of these couplings often end up severely deformed if they survive. Even children born between different Classes often end up this way too (but are more likely to survive through childhood). Children of different Orders tend to just be odd, but sometimes end up very interesting or surprising.
The purest blood is said to be the strongest and healthiest.

A child with the blood of at least four different Classes is called Kymera. These rarely live past birth and only 5 are known to have lived to adolescence. Only two lived into adulthood and only one through adulthood.
