CanisAlbus

Busby

Weight: 25 kg (anthro 66 kg)
Nationality: British (Born in Belgium)
Time period: 20th century, also present day
Occupation: Miscellaneous
Milieu: Urban

Appearance:
Overall: Busby is very lively and healthy looking young fellow. He’s a bit rounder than his friend Woody, but not excessively bulky or muscular. He’s still growing and clumsy, but it’s clear that one day he’ll become a large and strong adult. His ears are big and rounded, slightly similar to those of an African wild dog. The tail is short and fluffy.
Fur: Double coat, plush, soft and warm. Fluffy, upright mane from forehead to withers and a ridge from the withers to the base of the tail.
Markings: Base color of the fur is brown. Cheeks, chest, paws and the tips of the mane are slightly lighter. There’s a bit of darker pigmentation on the ears and around the eyes and the nose. Eyes are chocolate brown.
Clothing: In feral form he always wears a black leather collar and another similar tied around his right leg. Other accessories, such as army tags and scarves are also used sometimes. In anthro form his clothing follows the fashion of the time. A red bellhop's uniform is one of his personal favorites, as he used to work in a hotel. Formal clothing includes various vests, white shirts and trousers.

Personality:
Everyone can see that Busby is one happy youngster. His basic expression is a friendly smile and he laughs, talks and jokes a lot. He gets easily excited, yet his attention span is terribly short, so he gets bored before long and changes the subject or starts doing something else. He’s somewhat naïve, irresponsible and inconsiderate. It’s possible that Busby doesn't really know how to handle negative feelings like sadness and anger, neither his nor others. That’s why he’s always trying to cheer up everyone who shows signs of feeling down. Some find his company annoying and get irritated by his overpowering sociality, positive attitude and lack of understanding of personal space. His mischievous tendencies and general childishness gets him into trouble quite often. Either way, he’s always making an impression.

Interactions with other characters:
Busby is the best buddy of Woody, a Saluki about the same age as him. These two are pretty much inseparable, and notwithstanding their differences they’re each other’s best supporters. While Busby is a mischievous little daredevil who tends to act before thinking, Woody is definitely more mature and prudent. But that doesn't stop him from running into trouble with his hot-headed friend.
