Vic was only child of a playwright and his actress wife. His mother died shortly after he was born and he was raised more by his father’s employees than by the man himself. His father ran a traveling troupe of actors and other entertainers which made a living going town to town, performing for the locals for whatever tips they could get. While Vic’s father wrote and directed, the young boy turned to the collection of veteran actors, rogues, and misfits that in the troupe for his education. When he grew old enough to start acting, he preferred to take on male roles (despite the fact that people believed him female), which his father encouraged.

When Vic’s father passed away, he took over leadership of the troupe and decided to settle in the largest city on the continent. With the money he had been saving since childhood, and the help of a loan, he purchased a rundown theater that he reopened under the name of the Star Theater with great success.
