Adopted by rich folk Robert and Trixie from a very experienced and popular breeder, he was trained to be a highly intelligent cat; taught the same way as guide dogs/cats for the impaired. He was taught to fetch items, open doors, deliver packages, serve food by balancing the plates on his back. Thus his intelligence earned him the small job of a Cat Butler, along side the with other 'real' butlers; he's a very popular topic in the household and neighborhood and very adored by children. To make him appeal better to the public, Robert and Trixie took Chaves to a groomer who did body paint on animals; which explains the orange and yellow colors on Chaves's brown and white coat (the products used are very safe and not permanent and must be re-spray painted every other month). He was then given a Butler suit's collar to prove his butler-ness.

Very polite and soft spoken. Obedient, has high class manners, calling his masters 'mistress' or 'master'.
