Around the first few months after Shippo's birth, his older half-brother Manic absolutely hates Shippo because while Manic was an "accident", Shippo was a blessing and was momma's precious gift. although their mother was abusive and neglectful to both she very much preferred Shippo. Therefore, Manic was always a jealous butt and often bullied Shippo, although Shippo just thought it was just roughhousing or simple pranks.Then Manic began to realize that it wasn't Shippo's fault and that even Shippo didnt like being treated differently who began to pushed his mother away and eventually the mother began to hate them both equally.

Shippo and Manic are raised by a gang of delinquent dogs and such, ya know GANGSTA STUFF.

Shippo used to be a smart character, cautious and intelligent. Shippo and Manic's jobs are to steal household items from humans to sell to other dogs and make a profit for the gang. One day, their abusive mother Denise comes home severally drunk and high. Shippo accidently does something to set her off, and she starts beating him with her weapon of choice, A Mid- Evil spiked ball (its not THAT sharp, it has actually very round and dull points, but of course it still hurts like hell). She beats him mostly in the head, and blinds Manic in one eye, who tried to stop her. When Shippo heals, he is in a very dementalized state. His mind becomes one of a naive pup, not knowing any bad in the world, thinks everything is a game and not real, doesnt really understand whats going on, dense, clingy, stuff like that. Denise eventually dies by starting a fight with a rival gang, and dies in battle.
