Shane Podunk is a strange adolescent boy with haphazard regard to things going on around him.
shane will never pass an opportunity to crack a joke, or groan-inducing pun unless
it really isn't in his best health regards. the only person he reveals his inner-mind
phenomenon to is his long-time best friend Landon. the only person who willingly
copes with his immaturity.
oblivious to most, shane sees Landon as the 'older brother never around' and goes to him to whine and vent, the role shane's real older brother took before he went to college. leaving shane lonely with his own thoughts and immaturity.
shane is a surprisingly clever individual, but this is often masked by his flamboyant array of public stupidity, thus leading most people to believe his is a full blown idiot. contrary to many crafty solutions he devises on a daily basis.
shane doesn't have quite a style in clothing. he just slaps on the first shirt he finds in his overflowing closet. shane often squints, like above, because of his sensitive eyes.
( disabling him in multiple occasions ) he refers to them as "stupid balls"

I wanted the aim with this character to render vulnerable to many things, making him a prime target for danger in this story, and maturing him along the way.
