Lives with Suzie, Basil and Thea. Clyde is a happy-go-lucky crybaby--his emotions often get the better of him and he shows no shame in displaying them. He is inexperienced and bashful when in a romantic relationship. He's not very bright so he doesn't understand a lot of things and is easily impressed and fascinated with anything. Pull a rabbit out of a hat and he'd probably shit a brick! He is very street wise though, and knows what and who to avoid.

His boundless enthusiasm also extends to his job. He works as the lowest waiter at the Beachshell Café. Even though it's a shitty job he loves it and is so damn proud that he wears his work apron almost all the time, even if he does have to pay for replacements. Being an otter he naturally likes the water and surfing is his favourite hobby; he's pretty good!
